J is for Jumbo is a children's alphabet book that I wrote and illustrated as part of a placed based curriculum in collaboration with my friend and colleague and her 4th grade students. The concept for the book evolved from the desire to design a full curriculum and companion book that helped build connection and appreciation for our community and a beloved local landmark.
